HOSTED BY

Nada Badr

Hosted by, Chef Nada Badr

Hi there! My name is Nada, which is Arabic for “dew on the morning roses.”

I’m a professionally trained chef who grew up in Lebanon. I have been teaching cooking classes for over 15 years and although I am professionally trained; worked too many private events, many kitchens, I always like to teach my Lebanese cooking classes with authenticity - the way mom taught me how to.

I grew up watching my mother prepare meals for her family with patience and love. She taught me the fundamentals of fresh ingredients, traditional flavour combinations, the infusion of love in all things and how to execute a recipe with passion and love.

I teach time-honoured culinary techniques for the modern kitchen. The featured dish, infused memories, the laughter, it’s all guaranteed to be an authentic experience. Join me and let's create new memories together.

More About Experience

GREAT FOR CORPORATE & TEAM BUILDING EVENTS

Did you know that Hummus can be served as a main dish? Yes! It can. Join my class and I will show you how to make that velvety Hummus and how we can transform it from a side dish to a main dish by simply changing the toppings. For the meat lovers? Spiced meat. For the vegetarians? Aromatic grilled vegetables.

Have you ever wondered what makes hummus so velvety? Have you tried making hummus before only to be disappointed with the taste or texture?

Hummus is created by blending simple ingredients until it reaches a smooth, creamy cloud of deliciousness.

In Lebanon it’s a household staple and one of the simplest dishes to prepare.

Join Nada’s Experience! She will show you how to make the most amazing and authentic hummus, share awesome tricks and family secrets to help perfect your own hummus.

Nada likes to infuse her cooking demonstrations with funny stories and memories of her upbringing and learnings in the kitchen. It’s her way of animating the experience and sharing special bits of Lebanon with you.

The event ends by learning how to plate and present your hummus in way that will be sure to impress your friends and family - or that special someone!

“Before we end the class, we will break bread together. As a group of new friends — a "Hummus Family,” we will dig into a beautiful bowl of hummus made from the comfort of our homes.”

Close your eyes and imagine that fluffy, velvety hummus. Can you taste it yet? Let’s cook, laugh, and celebrate this amazing dish together!

Yalla! Nada is waiting for you.
