My cooking classes are suited for people who want to enjoy Japanese local culture and a homestyle meal, cooked in an actual home. You absolutely don’t have to be an expert, this class is for EVERYONE.

My classes are an entirely different experience from studio-type cooking classes, as you will sneak into a local’s life and get personal attention.

Learn a homestyle approach to cooking simple and yummy Japanese dishes. I will teach you how to prepare delicious home cooked meals with simple recipes and techniques which you will keep forever!

Hello, I’m Mayuko, and I am your main hostess. I grew up in Choshi city, which has one of the biggest harvests of fresh fish in Japan. I have been strongly influenced by my mother, who was a professional cooking teacher, and as an entrepreneur, by my father, grandparents, and great grandfather, who have been running a construction business for over 110 years for the country and community.

My mission is to introduce Japanese culture though authentic food. To prepare, I went to cooking courses, and, in January 2015, I opened Mayuko's Little Kitchen. Since then, I have been teaching people from all over the world (more than 3,500 people from 35 different countries) about Japanese culture through the preparation of authentic Japanese home cuisine."
