Sip, Sketch & Stretch blends relaxation techniques with creativity, all while retaining a level of fun.
A little bit of breathing and movement goes a long way to relax and de-stress!
You’ll learn basic drawing and color techniques as well as foundational yoga poses; nothing advanced, all focused on relaxation and comfort.
First, we’ll get warmed up and connect with our materials using line drawing, shading, and crosshatching. We’ll take some deep breaths in and out to connect with our mind and bodies as well.
Then we’ll do gentle yoga while sitting in our chairs. We’ll do side stretching, forward folds, and downward dog using the support of a desk or chair.
We’ll finish with standing yoga postures, and wiggle out any tense areas in the body, and learn how to create a line drawing of a plant (or similar object).
What You'll Need:
- Drawing tools: pencil and colored pencils
- At least 5 pieces of blank paper, 8"x10" or larger in size
- Household object such as a plant or a shoe to draw
- Beverage of your choice
Guests will make 4 drawings, learn 6 yoga postures, and 2 breathing techniques all from the comfort a desk, kitchen table, office, or maybe even your bed!

I am a professional artist and yoga instructor with over 16 years of experience in painting and teaching to all ages and levels. I work in my art studio full time and create abstract paintings inspired by nature, landscape, and light in Florida.
I have two degrees in painting and am certified in teaching yoga. I’m highly knowledgeable about art and yoga and love combining the two into one class. You will truly feel as if you are getting a real yoga and art lesson.
