More About This Virtual Event
What is Jeopaordy? Jeoparody is a knowledge contest with questions on many topics, such as history, languages, literature, popular culture, fine arts, science, geography, and sports.
Questions may be customized to any workplace. This game consists of individual or group contestants choosing one of the panels of the game board, which, when discovered, reveals a clue in the form of an answer; the contestants then have to give their answers in the form of a question.
This interactive game doubles as a comedy show, and it will tighten the bond at the workplace and get your teams laughing, talking, and in heavy competition!
Gain inside jokes with colleagues and see your boss outside of a work environment!
Experience Details:
You're probably familiar with the basic format of this game, but remember that you can adapt it to meet the needs of your team and your content requirements with an Experience Coordinator! We’re happy to customize questions to meet your needs.
Otherwise, check out some basic rules that you can modify to help achieve your goals.
Basic Rules
Divide participants into four or five teams.
Teams take turns choosing a topic category and a question in that category associated with a specific dollar amount ($100, $200, $300, etc.), e.g., 'We want Vertebrates for $300.'
Give teams one minute to answer each selected question correctly. Teammates must collaborate before giving the answer.
If the answer is correct, the team earns the amount of 'money' the question was worth. That is, they earn 100 points for a $100 question. The team points get tallied.
If the answer is incorrect, the question stays up on the board.
After the answer is given, whether correct or incorrect, it is the next team's turn. Taking turns allows each team more opportunity to participate throughout the game. This feature is unlike the classic game and allows for much easier flow of communication.
The game continues until all amounts under each category have been chosen and questions have been correctly answered.
The team with the most points wins!
