More About This Virtual Event
Love your job again and thrive right where you are today!
Often, when stresses and workload start to exceed our capacity, it is a result of a decreasing capacity rather than an increasing workload. People experience career burnout and their employment ambitions become a challenge. Don’t worry, here’s how we can help.
This experience is designed to share insight into how aligning personal values with day-to-day tasks may just be the key to unlocking your own satisfaction. Our minds are not designed to see relationships between what we do and how we feel, it is a perspective we must challenge ourselves to have. Takeaways include motivation checks, and support with connecting terminal and instrumental values systems.
If left unchecked, career burnout leads to feeling ‘stuck’, and unfortunately, people have one constant reaction to feeling stuck – and that’s flying away. Support your remote work culture and communicate how much you care.
In this experience, Mike helps you to explore your “why”. He will help explain the importance of leaving all work-related issues at work and provide perspectives on how to always keep your career ambitions and your personal ambitions on separate tracks.
Previous audiences have included corporations, organizations and universities including Stanford University. Mike started “The Happiness Hall of Fame” to recognize, encourage and celebrate people and organizations that make other people happy. Members of “The Happiness Hall of Fame” include Muhammad Ali, Dolly Parton, Jerry Rice, Serena Williams, The Golden State Warriors, The San Francisco Giants, The Wounded Warrior Project, and The Make-A-Wish foundation.
Mike Duffy is a philanthropist and an author of five books on happiness. These include: The Happiness Book: A Positive Guide to Happiness, The Happiness Book for Men and The Happiness Book for Kids Volumes I & II.
He has interviewed the top thought leaders, athletes, rock stars, CEO’s, and celebrities in the world on happiness, work/life balance, resilience and success for his books. Mike was a MC at Woodstock '94 and he also did a TEDx talk at TEDx Berkeley. He loves to speak about how you can gain greater happiness and joy in your precious life.
