Welcome to the magical world of tea & chocolate pairings!

Indulge your senses in a delectable journey of flavors at this event. We invite you to experience the perfect fusion of two timeless delights—tea and chocolate—in a symphony of taste that will tantalize your palate and enchant your soul.

Join Tea Sommelier and owner of The Monarch Tea. Co, Katie Cyr, in an educational and interactive experience involving the art of pairing tea with locally sourced chocolate from Madam Bonbon in Hamilton, Ontario.

Katie brings together two very diverse worlds and shows attendees how to pair and enjoy different teas and chocolates together. We will sample six custom made gourmet chocolates paired with six unique teas and learn how to expand our palates and create our own pairings at home.

Each guest will receive a custom package before the experience.

Sampler Package: 3 gourmet chocolates, 3 x 20g loose leaf teas from Monarch Tea Co., 20 pack of biodegradable "fill your own" tea bags.

Deluxe Package: 6 gourmet chocolates, 6 x 20g loose leaf teas from Monarch Tea Co., 20 pack of biodegradable "fill your own" tea bags.

Please note that pairings may contain nuts and are prepared in a facility that uses nuts.

Hi! My name is Katie and I'm a Certified Tea Sommelier and owner of The Monarch Tea Co. in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada!

Over the past nine years, I've traveled to Ontario sharing with others the art, history, and culture of tea! As a certified Tea Sommelier through the Tea Board of Canada, I've taught everything about tea, with an emphasis on tea & food pairings. Tea & cheese, tea & chocolate, and even tea cocktails are some of my favorite subjects to share with others. Our virtual interactive workshops have been taught worldwide and have helped guests discover more about the world's most popular beverage (second only to water!). I'm excited to lead you through an interactive tea tasting with a focus on how to expand your palate!
