More About This Virtual Event
This 60-minute interactive workshop is all around the idea that our thoughts shape our reality. We may know what we want or where we’d like to be, but we are often faced with self-doubt, limiting beliefs about ourselves and what’s possible for us, and negative automatic thoughts.
Ashley will start by discussing what thoughts are and how they influence our lives. She will talk about our negativity bias and how we can overcome our tendencies to focus on and remember the negative experiences in our lives.
Ashley will then take the group through a practical tool that people can use to self-coach and transform their thoughts to help them create their desired outcomes and results. She will also share a technique to overcome limiting beliefs and re-write the stories we tell ourselves.
We start with a Core Values exercise to understand what 5 values are most intrinsically important to us. Then, we will dive into a Life Audit to evaluate whether or not our lives are a reflection of our core values and discover ways we can live in deeper alignment with our unique values.
We use a coaching tool called the Life Wheel to get a snapshot of how we’re doing in every area of our life, so we can take stock of what is going really well and where we may need to make improvements. We use this as a jumping point for what we’d like to change and how we’d like to move forward.
Then, we dive into a framework called The Johari Window, a popular self-reflection tool used to uncover how you show up in the world vs the parts of ourselves that are hidden, unknown, or blind spots in our lives.
