More About This Virtual Event
The human mind doesn’t like to deal with uncertainty.
Security comes with certainty, and many of us want to know in advance what is on the horizon, what to expect, and how to manage them.
When we are in an unfamiliar space that we cannot control or predict, anxiety, discomfort, and worry often arise. However, studies also show that uncertainty forces us to apply intelligence, creativity, and the ability to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.
Embracing uncertainty can, in fact, keep us on our toes and excited about the future. We can choose to see uncertain times as an opportunity to challenge ourselves to be more flexible and creative and inculcate a mindset that what’s coming our way will bring happiness and peace, be it starting a new business, emigrating to another country or city, shifting careers, starting a family, or any other unfamiliar situation.
Join Ipek in this beginner-friendly, two-hour interactive workshop in uncovering effective ways to cope with uncertainty. Using the practice of visualization, and several bonding exercises we will explore emotions that come out in turbulent environments and learn how to navigate challenging times.
We will tap into our creative ability to create a space, a sense of safety, that will enable us to operate with intelligence, flexibility, resourcefulness, peace, and even excitement and happiness, amid unknown and volatile situations.
